We are looking for a fun-loving, highly energetic and organised individual, with a passion for entrepreneurial business to oversee multiple events across our Hong Kong spaces.
This individual will oversee events from start to finish, going above and beyond to make sure weekly and monthly events run smoothly. Nothing goes under the radar, from the basics like refreshments to hosting to behind the scenes work.

An Event coordinator is responsible for a multitude of facets from event planning, logistics and experience. You will be the driving force behind creating an amazing experience for event participants and ensuring that everything goes off without a hitch.
Duties and responsibilities
Administration and operations
Work alongside our Community team to brainstorm, oversee, plan and organise all events across the city
Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with different teams, managing the performance of events, analysing them and adjusting metrics and strategies to exceed goals
Provide weekly reports and suggestions to the Head of Events on the different events being hosted and best practices to improve effectiveness and quality
Liaise with core team members, communicating vital information ensuring events runs smoothly
Oversee weekly and monthly event budgets and expenditures of different teams
Project management: Update and plan small to large scale events, building a pipeline
Create monthly event report for Hong Kong locations to be sent to Head of Events for APAC monthly report
Events and support
Build a series of engaging and diverse events to contribute to the growth of creative communities
Frequent onsite event support regarding setup & dismantle; registration; smooth operations
Work alongside different teams to ensure a full event calendar at least two months ahead
Help and support all events including larger Hive events such as; Runway, Meet the Makers and Shorties Film Festival
Keep event ‘how-to’ bibles organised and updated to ensure teams are aware of any changes
Team management and partnerships
Rally with different community teams to create best practices that help build a stronger and successful community
Train new Community hires in event planning and executing basics
Establish and build new partnerships that help build-up brand awareness and engagement
Monitor and check up on event marketing – social media posts and artwork on schedule etc created for current and future events
Conduct weekly catch-up sessions with different teams, managing the performance of events, analysing different metrics, providing feedback and determining best practices
Experience and requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in Events, Entertainment or related experience
Experience in handling small to large scale events, previous experience working at a Startup or Events agency is an advantage
Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage difficult and critical situations
Highly organised and detail oriented
Be a social butterfly – able to network and build a relationship with anyone
Be creative, flexible and adaptable to different challenges
Results driven and highly motivated to create amazing and engaging events
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A team player who can work well with different internal teams and independently
Fluency in English, Cantonese is a plus
Immediately available is preferred
